Compare causes

Record what happened immediately before the symptom, how long the delay was, where it appeared first and which nearby areas remained normal.

Compare the competing pathways

The main comparison for this path is between high indoor moisture load, weak ventilation, local thermal bridging, air leakage and exterior water entry. A useful comparison asks what each explanation predicts. If one cause should respond to water use but the symptom only follows wind from one direction, that mismatch matters. If a theory requires widespread conditions but the symptom stays localized, the geometry matters too.

Build a safe evidence packet

Respect the boundary
